About Wagging Tails Dog Services
My name is Melissa Gabor and since 2005 I have been the owner and operator of Wagging Tails Dog Services. At Wagging Tails you deal directly with the owner and not with their constantly changing staff. This approach allows me to maintain high quality and personalized service for each Wagging Tails customer. I keep my clothing and vehicle unmarked to minimize attention during visits to your home and am insured and bonded to provide further peace of mind. I do however, have a reciprocal agreement with another pet care provider, who is also insured and bonded, thus assuring your pet's services regardless of any illness or vacation.
I have many years of experience working with dogs (of all sizes) and with cats and have a solid understanding of animal behaviour. With Wagging Tails you pay for my time and are not charged extra for having additional pets or for administering medication (I am trained to administer injections and medications).
Prior to the beginning of service, I meet all potential clients for a no charge consultation. This gives the potential clients a chance to interview me, in order to see if I can best meet their needs, and during this time I assess the individual needs of both the pet parent and their pet.
Wagging Tails Dog Services is a member of the All Canadian Pet Services Network (ACPSN). The ACPSN is a professional organization for Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers across Canada and is the only organization dedicated exclusively to Canadian Pet Care providers. I have successfully completed the (ACPSN) Pet First Aid training, so that in case of a medical emergency, you can be assured that your friend is in capable and caring hands.
